Driving under the influence of alcohol is prohibited

Authorities in Turkmenistan absolutely do not tolerate driving under the influence, including driving with alcohol in your system. Do not drive too fast in these areas so you can slow down in time if camels or other animals cross the road. On highways, you can accelerate, but keep the speed at 110 km/h.
